might be worth a look, how many trim clips will i need for a 70 with a long bed? you get 12 for 10 bucks, the only problem i see would be the doors, but i think i can get down there with a wrench or socket to tighten them up.

crank sensor, if it doesnt see crank movement, it shuts off. my 97 plymouth neon did just that, replaced the sensor, worked fine. take a good look at the wires that go to it. my new sensor had a different plug style and i had to cut the old one off and splice in the new one. still working fine to this day.

take out the glove box liner, and glove box cover, disconnect all the heater control cables. there are 3 or four long bolts that go through the firewall, take the nuts off those, take the hoses off, take off all the AC lines, there are two nuts on the inside, if you are looking through the glove box, they will be high on the right side, take those out, there is a row of Phillips screws just below

i am concerned with the term you use, " current" if you are measuring current, stop it! turn the meter to the DC voltage setting, ok, here we go, with the engine cranking you should get a solid 12 volts on the positive side of the coil, and while its running, you should have about half the voltage on the positive side, this is due to the ballast resistor, it is out of the curcuit while

remflex try these, i love em, i blew out several 'stock" sets, i could not get copper to seal, bought this brand , no problems. they are thicker, 1/8 inch and "crush" down to a 1/16, so if you have any warpage, these will fix you up. make sure you fallow the torque specs they only need 18 to 20 foot pounds.
