Went and looked at the truck today. I didn't dissect the system like I should have, but it looked like it was air actuated. The rear end was an Eaton. We drove it across the guy's yard and back, and it didn't pop out on us.

Not quite a sweptline, but figured you guys might have some ideas for me. Looking at a '74 D800 361/5spd/2spd rear. Seller says the rear end pops out of gear when there is no load applied to it (Like coming up to stop signs, etc.) Everything works fine otherwise. Any ideas on what would cause that?
