Merry Christmas to all. I think Linus said it best: "And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the City of Bethlehem, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. And sudd

Russ, from the research I've been doing, '61-'68 could have had this or the bigger u-joint version, the '69-newer trucks all used this one.

John, 33x10.5R16 on my truck right now. I'll be looking for an "S" shirt when I go to 35s or 37s soon. Gordo, I'm fascinated. Do you have a pic of how the steering box is mounted to the adapter bracket?

QuoteGordoI suppose you went no further as you suspected its weld? I'm young so I don't run power assist on anything (yet). I'd be interested to see the pics/info you have from those who did the Canadian idea, as I'm always trying to learn. demulsion gmail com

I think this is along the lines of what Gordo is talking about. I've had this laying around the shop for several years, leftover from a project truck I bought. I'm not sure the quality of the welds (steel stock onto cast iron...), but it's not the first one I've seen done this way.

I am in need of an intermediate driveshaft for a '69 W200. I'm not certain, but think it should likely be the same clear up until they went to a married transfer case in '77. Half of mine disappeared somewhere between parting out the donor truck, and installing the 4x4 conversion in my D200...

QuoteGordoI have need for a 67 cab. I have my eyes on a 70 cab. .. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IS A PERFECT MATCH TO A 67 WHEN DONE .. Gordo '61-'68 Wiper arms oppose each other, '69-'71 wiper arms move the same direction. So it's not going to be a perfect match for you, sorry.

I just saw this truck posted elsewhere last night. Simple body swap, overplayed hummer rims, and an expensive interior. A nice truck, but nothing unusual I don't think.

I've not yet gotten any parts from him, but I've had correspondence with him on several occasions and he seems to be a top notch guy. I plan on ordering a pair of his cab mount patch panels when I'm to that point on my new '68.

Since Terry doesn't want it, feel free to send it my way. I don't know what it's like to have a rig that everything works flawlessly, so it'd be right at home with me. I recently picked up a '68 D100 in real good shape, so as to have a daily driver that wasn't a complete project. Only the steering wheel sounds like there are a bunch of chirping birds in it every t

Oh cool, thanks man! I just picked up a '68 D100 last week that would look good with those in it. We'll have to see what my bank account looks like after all my bills come in next week. Thanks for looking out for me.

Does anybody know if the early white faced gages were available with an oil pressure gage? I've only ever seen one set in person, and it has the dummy light.

QuoteHobcobbleI'll have my wife & sister with me so there probably won't be any chance to hit any boneyards. John I left my dad and brother in the van for a couple hours and my mom came with me to pull parts at the big Pull-n-Save in Spokane on the aforementioned trip... It can be done!

I just got back on Friday from a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana... Beautiful country, and keep your eyes open for Sweptlines parked in fields and driveways along the road. I got pictures of 8 or so, and couldn't stop for 4 more. Lots of neat little junk yards with old iron out on the back highways, too!

Wrecking yards, or depending where you're located another member here might have a spare (I have several in WA). If you're not trying to stay 100% stock, it was an easy swap for me to put a '70's/'80's Dodge truck tank inside the frame under the bed (PM me if interested in details). Others prefer a van, Ramcharger, or car tank in place of the spare tire. So you have

About a month ago I narrowly missed buying a '64 D300 with a Perkins 3-53, 5spd, and a Brownie box. It was a screaming deal, in Post Falls, Idaho. I must've been called about 10 min. late... Guy said the buyer was flying in from California. Terry or Rob, was that you that picked it up?

Re: AMP gage. The fellow who runs the mad electrical site is a Chevy guy, and doesn't offer good advice to us Mopar folks. There are much better ways to address the 'issues' he brings up.

Wow, I'm sad to see such a great resource go. I know I haven't been on this site long, but I will miss it for sure. Your desire to enjoy what's left of the life the Lord has given you is completely understandable, and I wish you the best in it. Happy Sweptlining. -Ethan.
