Pretty killer hot out west here. Before it went over the top I spent a week fabbing up a sleeping bed in the back of my Town Wagon that also doubles as secure storage. 1-1/4" steel angle framework with aluminum diamond plate inserts in a box 18"T x 24"W x 74"L. Lots of storage but a narrow sort of couch for my skinny arse to sleep on. Already had the cushions from the bed I had in there years ago. Handy for overnight travel, plus discreet secure storage with locking padlocked lids. Out of sight - out of mind. I was already out of mind, so the out of sight will be a nice addition...
