Seeing how I sold this rig over 30 years ago and I have no records on it, we will never know the real answer to the validation of the year to the VIN, however, it was titled as a 1966 and was only known as that, so that is my quest.
I have decoded a few trucks lately to understand the VIN info but was unaware of serial stampings on anything but the tags.
So, back to the VIN. How would I find out what the VIN was on my old 66? My dad registered it first back in 1978/9 and has never moved from his house?
