I wish there was but we just went through all of his stuff in his house for other reasons and I know there isn't anything there. I've been doing some research and called the DMV. I do have a clear photo of the license plate and if I bring my dad down there (as the titled owner) they can look it up from there. I will keep you posted on how this goes.
Another way was to call the insurance company insured at the time but their records only went back 15 years...........dead end.
I will be really pissed if it turns out to be anything but what I have been after............a bit embarrassed too. Ha.
