Pulled out of NAPA parking lot into medium traffic, nailed it, got that nice third gear chirp in the Townie 4BT. Safely into traffic, cruising through town, maybe 5-7 over the limit, slowing to cut into the bank. CHP coming in the opposite direction, slowed down & whipped a hard U across 4 lane

Just tell the judge u will be happy to pay court costs just as soon as the agency pays your costs for the unlawful cite, and that by the way, the court costs were a direct result of that unlawful cite, so they can reimburse that also.
Dont recall EVER hearing of an acquitted defendant having to pay ANY court cost.
