Does anybody know this exists for my '69 W200 / 383 ? My old mechanical one just died Wednesday (in the charge position, of course) and I have a solid-state one in my Polara which has been good for a long time, so I wanted to get one for the truck too. Haven't been able to find one so far

It was an Echlin that died on my after a couple years / few thousand miles, and it's an Echlin that I have so far replaced it with. It looks good, but so did the old one...
The failure was an obvious QC / manufacturing defect, one of the leads to the coil vaporized.
Thanks for all the input, I will look further into those Leece-Neville units, they sure look hardcore.
