We've clearly had different experiences with 69's... I've had three 69's all with metal. I recall another friends 69 also with metal. I've only ever noticed plastic on the 70 and 71's. Anyone have a 69 brochure? It would be interesting to see what documentation anyone can come up with.

I was only trying to help determine if John's rig had other signs of being a 70-71 model. That's why I suggested him to note what type of gauge bezel he had.

John, does your tailgate have stamped DODGE letters or is it blank? I believe all 69's had the stamping.
