Out here in L.A., we have many cheap auto parts stores like AutoZone. They all seem to carry the cheapest stuff from China. The NAPA store close to my house gives you a choice. Cheap Chinese or better American which naturally costs more. I am lucky that the counter guy at my NAPA is a retired Chrysler employee with lots of patience for guys like me!!
Employees make a big difference with our experiences. At the end of the day though, parts quality and selection is just as important. Imagine if you had a crappy employee AND poor selection of cheap@$$ parts... never been to an O'Reilly's.
