Are the NP 420-435 transmissions supposed to take the same gear oil (90W/80-90W) as the diff? Noticed the the "Hypoid gear lube GL5", has Sulphur that can cause corrosion of brass parts, synchros, etc. NAPA dude in town can'r shed any light on it, says "use the same in everythin

Point well taken, but nothing's impossible. I'm leaning towards factory installed after seeing them on both frt/rear U joints of my '64 D200 yesterday.
