Are the NP 420-435 transmissions supposed to take the same gear oil (90W/80-90W) as the diff? Noticed the the "Hypoid gear lube GL5", has Sulphur that can cause corrosion of brass parts, synchros, etc. NAPA dude in town can'r shed any light on it, says "use the same in everythin

Valvoline Gear Gard EP 90/140, API GL-4

Descripton:
Valvoline Gear Gard EP 90/140 are recommended for hypoid spiral bevel or worm gear transmission system of cars, buses, truck and tractors requiring EP type lubricants.
Remarks:
It is also recommended for transmission, final drives and hydraulic system of Ford Tractors.
