Teh 62 D300 with poly runs great but in the last few days when you drive somewhere get out to run in the store quickly, come back out, it wont start for 10 or fifteen minutes? coil not gettting hot, ballast resistor not gettting hot. dont think I have any vapor lock in this weather? but the flange

the problem is spark! strange thing. drive for 15 minutes around town make a few stops, shutting off and restarting, after 3rd time stoppping and shutting down, will not start again 5 minutes later. I no longer have volt meter but was able to determine that I have voltage at both sides of ballast resistor when not getting spark, but dont know how much and the coil side without the meter. as soon as it sits for 20 to 30 minutes it will start again. distributor is an NOS unit with only 2 to 3 K on it. so not thinking condenser. starting to think coil as why would it keep running with air movement. I guess same thing could happen with the ballast resistor also.
