Teh 62 D300 with poly runs great but in the last few days when you drive somewhere get out to run in the store quickly, come back out, it wont start for 10 or fifteen minutes? coil not gettting hot, ballast resistor not gettting hot. dont think I have any vapor lock in this weather? but the flange

I was tuning up a 1935 chrysler Airflow and looked up the dwell in the spec in the book it said something like 31.5 degrees, not 28 to 32 like many other vehicles, just 31.5.! talk about a specific setting. I agree with Terry on the Dwell meter. MIne is broken and it aint in the budget right now to get another. so gotta gap only till I can borrow or buy one. nothing is more accurate thana dwell meter. It just makes them run that much better when set correctly.
