Hi Again,
If you followed my last message about the ignition switch problem I was having. You will know I have been working on my 1969 W300. It had sat for the last year or so. I thought it would be a good idea to have the carburetor rebuilt and do a complete tune-up. This included installing a Mopar Performance electronic ignition.
I am now having trouble adjusting my carb. Following JimmieD's post from the Best of Forum and the service manual. I am not have any luck. The way I understand it is that I should turn each mixture screw out until the highest engine speed is reached. Then readjust the curb idle speed. One of the problems I am having is once the highest engine speed is reached and I go to adjust the curb idle speed. The idle screw is already backed off all the way and idle is way high. I am having a few other problems with it. But, I thought I would start with this. I did call the shop that rebuilt it and all they say is "we rebuilt it to factory specs." The carb is a Stromberg WW3-283.
Thanks
