Is the choke fast idle cam sticking or set too high? Throttle cable binding or out of adjustment?Also both the mixture screws should be adjusted evenly as in move each one 1/4 turn at a time. I didn`t read the best of the forum but once you get the idle speed fixed & at max rpm start turning them in until the engine starts to miss then back them out 1/4,, remember to do them together so the carb is "balanced" Agood baseline on the mixture screws is 1&1/2 turns out from bottom & when bottoming them don`t force them.
