I just dont understand how Danno can charge $115 for a whole kit minus windshield and rear window and all the rest charge at least $190!!!

I need to seal all of my doors and side glass. any other good package deals out there? PS: I ain't paying $300 for seals. I know there is at least 1 other source but can't remember the name. RPM weatherstripping Richard O'shields hasn't returned my 20 phone calls for the past 3 months so i guess they aren't interested in doing business.

Mine was bouncy, and it wound up being a very loose timing chain. A new set cleared it up and it runs sweet.

Tell me about it!! I am happy that this is the only wire hacking this truck has had to endure. Ive seen some nightmares. I will however keep on the lookout for a nic efuse block as an extra.

Ok so a little update: I went through all of the fuse box connections & re-cleaned everything. I also pulled the gauges and found no issues, although i do see that the temp gauge runs off of a factory jumper from the fuel gauge. Yeah, i don't follow wiring diagrams unless i have to, so this is how i found that out.... In my investigation, i saw that the last "guy"

So i stopped to clean the windshield at a gas station and when i got back on the road the radio was out. It would eject and load a CD but not turn on. Then i noticed the Temp Gauge & Fuel Gauge were dead. The turn signals also don't work. I looked for a blown fuse but nothing. Then, on the way home i was messing with the horn ring and the radio came on and the gauges climbed up.

Or maybe just a flat bar across the back of the panel like your washers, but one piece across.

QuoteHobcobble Easy Wally.... young kids read this forum. John Hey man, i really was talking about the windshield!!! The only problem was that in the 100 degree heat, i would get a little vasoline from under the seal drip down the center. But that stopped and its all good now!! But I did almost drop it with all that lube so watch it!!

Trey, i have never seen them in person, i would bet that the metal is turned in a little for strength but i would think it would be pretty easy to make (without the folded metal) by taking a metal hole saw and then using a cut-off to connect the holes in the middle.....

Trey, had I not read the captions I would have said "looks like you turned into a gitty little school girl behind the wheel of a sweptline again!!" That truck is awesome!! Are you going back to the factory color?

The only other thing I could think of is tear the filter off and then use a ratchet to loosen the actual filter stud from the block.....

Its 7 hours to Columbus from here. How does this show rate these days copared to Carlisle? I have been once about 10 years ago, and I seem to remember it being small. Of course, we also made the trip in a 70 RR which wasn't as comfy as a modern ride. What do you guys think?? Id love to find some Sweptline parts since its a different region of the country..
