Heres an idea, just mount the spare on the front grill. That really looks retro cool. The ramcharger tank was at least 35 or 36 gallons. I know, we had one when I was a kid. It was like a bottomless pit filling it up. Fish

As I recall there was a lot of discussion about this a few years back. Im thinking some of the guys then used ramcharger tanks. I know there was a post on how to put the filler tube behind the rear tail light. They made the rear lens hinged so when you opened it up the filler tube was right there, it looked slick. Again, this was several years ago.

128. Ben
Ben, How do you like the AJJ disc brake conversion on your truck? Does it live up to your expectations? Can you tell a difference? I like mine, no problems after several years of hard stopping pulling a trailer. Ron

Ben, I love the wheel covers. I also like the cool iron gate you put in front of your drive way to keep the chevy and fords out. Mopar nats is only half a year away. Get the bugs out of her. Ron

This sounds like a good tip, replacing with DOT 5. My slave was about 6 years old, and it did have rust in it. How and what do you flush out the system with? Do you run the new fluid in it to flush it? Fish

so next time you wanna talk about something, cause everytime some new post comes along, seems i get to thinking about it, and mine either breaks or needs attention, talk about something that is easy to fix. Guess what! After reading the original heater core post, mine started leaking! Thanks a lot guys! My 65 was a lot easier to get out than your 70 with air. I took it to the rad. shop.

WOW, thats one straight, clean, solid looking truck. Makes mine look like a POS! Sometings I think about starting new, getting a better body (mine is solid, just a lot of dings and surface scabs) but Ive grown attatched to mine. I also have a lot of work done on it, I know it inside and out. Great looking truck though. Drive it as is for a while. Have fun with it. Fish

Didnt our trucks come stock with these stabilizers? One thing that I found on my truck, the spring bushings were almost totally gone. When I would hit a bump or take a tight turn my whole front axle was shifting! Talk about a handful to steer! I didnt catch it untill I took it into a shop to get aligned. They told me. Got it fixed and wow, no more white knuckle steering. My truck does

Clutch! I was having trouble with air getting into the clutch. Id bleed it and about 3 months, almost no pedal. Thought is was the original line, no fix. Just bought a new MC last year so I went for the slave C. Put a new one on and WOW!!! This pedal has never been so firm in its life!!! I posted this next tip a few years ago but is worth telling you again. I use a modified weed kille

Norm, Hvent been around for a few months. A combination of very busy and honestly, I couldnt get use to the new forum. Well, Ive warmed up to this new look but I have one big complaint. In the old days, and in many of my other forums, when I read a post, all I have to do is scroll down and read all the other replies. On this forum, I have to click next message to get the replies then scrol

The mopar nats would be great. If its going to happen, getting excitement on this forum started early would spurr more guys to come. When we were all at Goldies, there was talk of the event for months beforehand. Maybe in Jan or Feb, when you know for sure that your going, we can start to talk about it and get the other guys excited about it. Another picnic at goldies would be great. If

Ben, I know the frustration you had with your paint. Im not a painter but try. One time I did some body work on my dads truck, repaired a fender and the paint looked great. Really gave me confidence. The next job I did, major orange peel!!!! It is so hard to match results consistantly, at least for me. Who knows what I do wrong. Your truck is looking great. Your close to the finish
