Did not say high compression or high reving, dont put words in my post, clear you have no clue between the specs on a low perfromance 383 or a 413 truck engine and a perfromance magum 383 RR motor, but you have always been like this and everybody knows it. Go ahead, switch out the engine and change everything out if thats what you want to do, you will waste more time and money but thats your right, not my fault you cant make a 383 work in your truck, I would bet some good money its worn out and a low hp version motor in the first place, I dont knowjack about 383's, was part owner of a 68 Cuda that ran 11.50s with a 383lol
