Well for once you're right, Terry.
The 23 spline didn't start until the '69 models but you might be smart to change it. The 10 spline seems hard to find and I have been told at the local clutch shop I use it is no longer available. I think the 435's are pretty much the same throughout production after the spline change but I wouldn't stake my life on that. Not sure about the bolt patterns as I think there may have been a change in those but I think maybe at the same time as the spline change.
