Truck in question is a 66 Camper Special with the "close ratio" NP 435. Thinking about swapping it out with another that has the super low first gear. I know if I go this route and find one newer than 1967 it will have the 23 spline input shaft and will necessitate a new clutch disc. But

Just an FYI and I'm not sure if they are interchangeable, but the 1980's CJ had a 10 spline 10" clutch and I use the same clutch insertion tool for both those Jeeps and early Dodges, so the clutch disk might be interchangeable and the Jeep clutches are still available...just in case anyone gets into a bind trying to find a 10 spline clutch disc.
