Hello!!: I am thinking of installing the CPP power steering conversion on my 67 Fargo D100. Engine is the Poly 318. Engine has the forged crankshaft, internally balanced, therefor no harmonic balancer on the crank. My question is, I require a double groove pulley to drive the power steering pump. I

If u think about the rotation, and the forces, u realize the crank pulls down on the water pump pulley first and the alternator, which is behind it, puts additional lateral force on the water pump shaft which becomes a fulcrum between the crank and the alternator.
Just rig it up, drive it til it breaks, fix it and do something else.
