The original truck is perfectly safe to drive. I've been driving them for 50 yrs w/o issue.Quote

I'm not trying to make me a modern truck, I'm trying to make one that is safe to drive. I want power disk brakes and power steering and am wondering if the crown vic swap is my best bet. Are there better options? Will the crown vic front end fit?

There is no such thing as a crown vic "swap". EVERY IFS mod requires welding, frame cutting and more. And, you will spend many thousand $ doing it, along with years of work.
