I just got me a 68 D100 long bed pickup. I would like a more modern drive train and leave the body rustic. I’ve read about the crown Vic front end swap but want to make sure that works. I’d also like to add a more modern 5 speed manual behind the 318, any recommendations? And is there a rear end wi

This is my 1969 D100 that I modified. Its 1991 D150 front suspension, I "Z" cut and boxed the frame under the cab. As mentioned, it's not a bolt in setup and required a lot of modifications to get everything to fit right and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have good fabrication skills. If you do? I would highly recommend it, it has a ton of benefits and modernizes the whole drivetrain of the truck. I've incorporated a bunch of other modifications to my truck chassis to help with brakes, rear suspension, etc. I could write a book on this chassis upgrade ha ha
