I've posted the complete information several times in the past. My truck had an analog 5VDC regulator, many do, it is common to Mopars of all types for many years & models.
I fully grasp the situation, and have done the upgrade to IC control. I've also listed the exact Radio Shack part numbers in the past. The changing of the on-board analog voltage regulator for another analog voltage regulator is not complicated, many if not most are a plug-in device. Your complaints really have very little to do with the information I posted.
"Changing that out is not as easy and simple as you would have everyone believe. And in fact, even your posted link does NOT give instructions, but only states, quote: "With reg-in-gauge versions, you’ll have to fly blind".
I said nothing whatsoever, not a word, about ease of conversion or anything being simple in my prior posts here, so I guess in addition to an obsession/compulson you may be suffering from delusional hallucinations? It isn't there, but you see it?
"As usual Jimmie your post is incomplete and oversimplified."
My post gives links to full information related to the subject matter of the post: 5VDC instrument panel voltage regulator devices. The subject is not gauges with built in regulators. If you weren't so busy with data mining for errors and an obsession with fault finding you would have realized that. If you have another type of regulator or gauge system then it simply doesn't apply to you, simple, real simple there. Work on that.....
This thread has a whole lot more to do with Dodge trucks & Mopars & related information than your recent threads: 'Sales Tax on Internet Purchases', or 'How's the Weather?' detailing climatic conditions in Alaska, or 'Another Day at the Kenai River Alaska Cabin', or 'Never a Dull Moment Spending my Luck", yet again a 'show & tell' about Alaska, this time with you falling out of a boat. Dare we forget your 'Candy Man' thread, for relativity to the Forum topic: DODGE SWEPTLINE TRUCKS? Then there's your thread about 'Gun Control', and hey, one about 'Best Surgeon in California'? The last 3 aren't only entirely irrelevant to Sweptlines but all overstep the boundaries of Forum Rules against political discussions in this forum.
