I have to say that I'm disappointed on this. I'm sick & tired of in-your-face insulting challenges to 75% of my responses or posts.
The hydraulic cluch line was a classic example. I stated the purpose of the coil in the tubing. The other stated purpose of it being a flexible area to prevent damage just doesn't hold water, there's too many better ways to do that.
I provided a whole bunch of solid engineering information & links and explained the mechanics of it as thoroughly as I could. I showed that velocity of fluids in a bend effects other parts of system and that it's a very well known fact of hydraulics design. I still get insulted, ridiculed and hassled for what I posted, regardless of what information I add. To me that's unacceptable.
The thread ended up locked. There was no insults & name calling from me, just simple facts. Now it's impossible to discuss it further there, and it wasn't mine or Terry's thread! This has happened to numerous threads, locked forever.
I posted follow up info in a new thread, after the other was locked. It filled in the blanks and further gave the fluid engineering that dictates such a surge coil being necessary. I got it in the face again!
You all will notice that I posted a huge amount of solid engineering practice to fully support what I stated and to clearly describe the reason for such a surge coil. I've tried to give similar proofs in other threads on different subjects.
You should all notice that nobody else provided even a scrap of similar engineering proof, no documentation of any kind, no verifiable citations, no fluid or mechanical engineering principles or any other proof at all, just opinion & insult, insult, insult, insult.
I'm left in a situation of either leaving the forum, which I don't want to do, or being insulted & slandered & ridiculed nearly every time I post. Like I said, that's unacceptable to me. If members are allowed to ride someone's case just to force them to leave then something's wrong with the picture. Certainly dozens & dozens have left already. That was the reason for requesting a monitoring of offensive posts and a method of eliminating the problem.
