Britt. True, there is nothing wrong with it. Just doesn't fit. We talked about the gear change before. I called all the "pro" pto specialists and posted several times about how to change that gear. The big problem is there is no ID plate on tbe pto itself and the number on the gear means nothing to the "pros". So they can't help with parts. It's an older, one piece gear unit. Not like the newer ones. I have spent many hours on the phone and emailing trying to solve the problem. If it fits the NP540, it doesn't fit the window on the drivers' side, which is where I needed it. Maybe it fits the other side, but I have no need for one there. I finally found one in a wrecking yard back east. I thought since you were "90%" sure about it fitting, that you would honor that. I tried to buy one from John Eickhof and when it wouldn't fit, he let me send it back. I would cover the shipping both ways.
