We are having problems getting the hydraulic clutch to work on our '65 W200 with 383. The NP435 that was previously in the truck was very worn and we had a NP420 laying around in the garage so we decided to switch to the 420. I rebuilt the clutch master and slave cylinders and they are working

We are just changing to the 420 trans so that we can get the truck driveable. We will possibly get the 435 rebuilt and put back in. I drive my '62 W100 with NP420 and am used to it now. I think we're going to pull it back apart today and check out the pressure plate.
