We are having problems getting the hydraulic clutch to work on our '65 W200 with 383. The NP435 that was previously in the truck was very worn and we had a NP420 laying around in the garage so we decided to switch to the 420. I rebuilt the clutch master and slave cylinders and they are working

We bought the truck late last year and have just been trying to get it road worthy. The trans sounds as though it was worn out and it liked to pop out of third gear once and a while. We pulled a 435 trans out of another truck we had and installed it yesterday along with a new/rebuilt pressure plate and 12" clutch. The old clutch looked fine but a new one came with the pressure plate. The pressure plate looked like it was not adjusted correctly when it was rebuilt. It is running great now and shifts fine.
Just got the exhaust finished last Tuesday. It sounds awesome with the Flowmasters.
