I modified the beat up original bumper that looks to be a dealer built type. Too sloppy original work compared to any mass produced bumpers. problaby all the 9 foot beds had to have cusotm bumpers made as they made so few. I modified it so I could use the stock license plate location with the light

looks good.
i used heat-shrink electrical tube on my truck. it is not perfect but it is functional.
my brother made the hook out of nuclear grade stainless steel rod (don't ask how he got it or why it is called that - i have no idea but he works at a nuke power plant).
