In a way that's not too funny! Quite a few wildfires are caused by mowers, even flail mowers.

On this MTD designed machine the exhaust pipe points straight down, about 12" in front of mower deck. A spark would be tossed down and then hopefully extinguished by the blade action as mower passes over a second later I guess.

I'm modifying exhaust, changing angle plus adding an arrestor screen, plus building racks to carry onboard charged water extinguishers, just in case. Wildfires last year were too scary close.

Then after the big fires I was at a neighbor's cutting some spring packs off the back of a truck frame with a grinder. Cleared all the brush within about 30 feet, plus he was supposed to be watching in case of sparks. Wellllll, he went wandering off to look at something and a spark flew about 40 feet, lit the grass and we quickly had a terrifying blazing inferno! Took out a couple of acres before 3 of us got it out. Had a very valuable collection of race cars, street machines, antique cars, fire came within a foot! Thank God another neighbor heard me scream 'FIRE!' and came running with hose from his pump too.

Fire Dept came but it was already out, but they soaked the area. Said there was simply no way we could have put that fire out, should have taken out the whole mountain and been gone over the othser side, with the 30mph winds. First time I've been scared spitless in about 40 years, TERRIFIED! Thank God.....
