I've posted this before in a few individual threads, thought I'd give it a shot as a topic. I need two tailgate hinge pivots and two tail gate support straps. The straps are like the one to the right in this photo, DIAL UP WARNING! DTA Albums The strap and hinge are both for a wide gate Sweptline box. Thanks for looking. Norm

I'm pretty sure that Jim's CD has the entire headliner process in great detail. Click on the link in the Header links bar.

Just a follow-up. I know a couple of guys here, including Russ Ashley, used the small diameter booster and dual reservoir set up from the cars and it clears the BB valve covers.

The Truck of The Week, belongs to Shartwig. This 1970 D200 is powered by a 383 which finds it's way to the tires by way of a 727 automatic transmission. Originally his Grandfather's truck, this beauty looks ready to run another 32 years. Number 25 in the Registry.

That dust cover is for the slant six. The Poly is a bit different. I couldn't find a dust cover photo, but I did find this 727 photo, note the starter location.

QuotePwrWgnDrvr Ok Norm, I see the difference on threaded holes. When I look at the 727s, the casting is different at the top of the bell, but bolt holes may still be in the same place. It looks like the mechanical clutch /6 bell in your pic has the starter in the same place as a v8. The starter is almost at the top of the bell on the 67 727. Yes, the darn starters also changed location and num

Terry, I know the pattern and size is the same, but some sixes assembled from the opposite side as the V8, so the holes may either not be threaded, or threaded on both bell and block at the same hole locations. I know that is hard to read, so here are two photos, of manual bells for comparison. V8 Bell, with all threaded holes needing to be on the engine block. Slant 6 bell, with b

QuotePwrWgnDrvr Gotta wonder how many people they killed with their "lifetime" guarantee. BASTARDS! "I'm sorry sir, the warranty clearly says, "lifetime", since your cousin was killed in the accident, his lifetime is clearly over, so nope, we aren't covering it......"

Quote712edf Wouldnt a disc brake Dana 44 or 60 from a later (80-84) W200 be almost bolt-in? Bucky Almost. There is a 3/4 inch difference in the spring perch width, the later steering box and consequently the steering arm, is on the wrong side of the axles as is the tie rod and the shocks. But it is doable.

The Truck of The Week belongs to Jeff. This 1963 D100 is #1300 in the Registry and frankly I'm at a loss for words on this one. The lowering really accentuates the short wheelbase of the '63 with the 8' bed. I don't know whether to think photoshop, or really cool! Either way it may need some wheelie wheels on the rear bumper to facilitate cross gutter dips in the road. The tru

I think you should take the tailgate hinges off and sell them to me! I desperately need tailgate hinges for the wide tailgate models.

It's that time of the year when despite all that is wrong with our country, economy and certain family members, we can all stop to reflect, ponder and give thanks for the blessings we have. If you can drag yourself up to the screen and read this, then it's time to give thanks. Thanks to all of the Dodge Sweptline supporters, may your day be great and your waistband elastic.

I'd agree Russ. It's value now may be as a static display. However if there is an economical way to test and repair...?

It's rare for the fuel lines to rust on the inside, but it is possible. Additionally search for another filter hidden in line from the tank. Sometimes owners would customize by placing an additional filter somewhere in line.

As opposed to vertical... The float ( cork ) is positioned horizontal. There is really only one way to install it, but the wire needs to be adjusted to position the float so that it is perfectly horizontal and with clearance on either side of the tank wall. This isn't a Sweptline float, but it's similar.
