I discovered something weird today. The 741 case I took out of my 70 sweptline has a smaller ring gear. Looks to be 8" instead of 8-3/4" Anyone else see that before?

I always thought impact wrenches were a no no on the nut because they could chip teeth or damage a bearing?

This is the fan I went to, it moves some serious air and out performs any other fan on the market.

I had a 7 blade big block fan on my swepty with a 3 core radiator, tranny cooler and condenser. It couldn't handle it, it was pulling too hard and bend the blades.

Demon Sizzler is the guy to go to on Thermoquads. Google his name. I have a Thermoquad that is rebuilt that I would like to get rid of it. The Thermoquads/AVS are good as long as you don't have a radical cam. The metering rods need a good constant vacuum to operate properly.

My brother had a 70 short bed Power Wagon, same color as the one in the picture. I'm pretty sure his was factory since it was for the military.

I never understood why Dodge went to 5 on 5 in 1985 and the Dakotas a 6 lug from 1991 until the latest Dakota came out.

With all these comments about disc brakes, why do we see people wanting to convert from drum to disc?

A problem I've have fought is fuel percolation. Engine gets hot, heat rises up through the carb and the fuel starts to boil and it floods. Fuel pressure is critical too. Carter/Edelbrock likes no more than 6 psi.

Many new parts, alot of NOS parts, frame off restoration. Has A/C, Automatic, Disc brake conversion, power steering conversion, Mopar Magnum 360 cu in 380 hp crate motor. Needs finished. A whole parts stash comes with it. I can't get it to run right and I'm tired of fighting with it. I'm laid off and no more money to throw at it. I've invested $25,000 in it. Make an offer. he
