For MoparNorm: "The Truck of The Week was submitted by PowerMan. Nothing says 'rugged and ready to play', more than a Heavy Half short bed with utiline bed. I also like the look of the small rear window. This 1965 1/2 is Poly powered and is also listed in the Buy-Sell Forum."

QuoteMoparNorm No final decision has yet been made, regarding the Buy Sell. Phil has put in a lot of time trying to solve some issues here so that we can get the "new post" flag to display. The multiple sections was one option to accomplish that. I apologize to him and the members here for my proonged absence from the forum Thanks Norm, I thought I'd put the extra forum out th

Can anyone help Will with date code stamps on Sweptlines? On the other Power Wagon , wheels have 2-digit year date stamps, there are various date castings on the engine block, head, transmission. Date stamps are also found on the back of the speedometer. And Will, is the engine original and have you found the serial number for it?

QuotePwrWgnDrvr I really don't care for spreading the posts out thru multiple forums. I didn't like the announcements format, now buy/sell makes it even more tedious to stay current. I believe in keeping it simple... I agree, see my response above on June 12, however, I decided to give it a try. I'm looking for more feedback, take the poll in the New Buy/Sell Forum post.

103. Re: TOTW
Search for Truck of the Week and you'll find them all. As Norm said, the new template will place a new flag indicator to the left of the subject in the Announcement forum whenever someone replies to the Truck of the Week post. Same with sticky posts. However, they still do not expand, apparently that behaviour is by design, I haven't found a work around for it.

It was only a matter of time before the forum got hit by spammers, there were a bunch of spam posts this morning that I deleted. As of this morning I have implemented a spam protection module that shouldn't affect registered users, however, unregistered users will need to fill out a captcha (one of those random word pictures), before posting. There are a few other protections in this module

QuotePwrWgnDrvr I haven't noticed it. No idea what that feature is. btw - what kind of files can be attached? Only pic files like jpegs? How about a .mov? Try it but uploads are limited to 300K per attachment and usually movies are much larger than that.

QuotePwrWgnDrvr Downside is, posts dont change color and they still say "new" I just enabled an option that will allow you to mark a message read while in preview mode, select CTRL+Right-Click to mark the message read. There is a little help message that explains it in the preview area.

You may have noticed a new popup post feature. What do you think, keep it or scrap it ?

We can create another forum but it will change the look of the homepage. Instead of going directly to the main DTA forum there will be a list of three forums: Announcements, DTA Forum, and For Sale. I really hesitate to do that since, in my opinion, the simple nature of this forum is part of its appeal. Maybe create a Sticky thread instead?

I don't know why but some new users do not get the automated email from dodgesweptline.org, maybe spam filtering software on their host? I've been monitoring new user registrations and usually send a follow-up email within a couple of days if their registration is still pending. Currently I am waiting for replies from 3 pending registrations. I set sweptygirl's account to activ

The Truck of The Week belongs to Rocky. This is one beautiful Town Wagon that you need to see in person, to fully appreciate. As you can see, from the Hollister Mud Pit, Rocky also uses this truck as Dodge intended. Rocky won "Best of Show", most likely for his set of DTA headers, as he graciously loaned his Townie for the first DTA Prototype.

QuoteGordo Norm, I like to keep my correspondence in my computer installed email inbox. I could just leave the first contact in my pm inbox. I noticed that I am one of a very few with exposed email address in control center. That's me just a step behind, I reckon socialism is OK LOL Gordo You found the setting.

QuoteGordo I recently was sent a pm. we then corresponded a few times using the PM. We agreed on price, and now I need to contact him. It is true I deleted them, and now their is no trace left to contact him. Bottom line,, in my opinion I prefer email if possible. Few reasons and probably more, LOL 1. The administrater can get into any PM, or at least it seems likely? What if I swore o
