QuoteGordo The frame stamped numbers on the passenger side are 2830112625. No one has identified what those passenger side stamped numbers represent.? I did locate the right front frame numbers which do match door post vin numbers. Gordo I think it is a part number for the frame. My 1963-68 book lists 2830 112 in the index with code 13-01-1 which is the frame section. However it does no

Aha! I was able to duplicate the error on another computer. There appears to be a problem with one of the modules that sets the timezone. I've temporarily disabled it so unregistered users can now read the forum. Thanks for reporting the problem.

I was doing a phorum security upgrade on Oct 8, between 7-8 AM EDT. Was that the time you were experiencing the trouble?

QuoteJimC Hey Norm or Phil, I have a new email address, how do I change it on here? Go to the Control Ctr, then select Edit Email Settings. The links embedded in my reply above will take you to the Control Ctr and Edit Email Settings but for future reference the Control Ctr is located on the links bar at the top of every forum page.

Quotelittle doug I see Im not the only one with bad spelling skills. In all honesty,I could use some help finding the spell check feature...Anybody? You couldn't find it because it wasn't there. I just added a spell check feature, look for the Check spelling button on the bottom of the message form. However, the spell checker wants to change carb to crab.

Glad to see you found it is working again. I didn't hear from Norm until late last night and he wasn't sure it was working. However, the Domain records look good now, dodgesweptline.org is renewed for another 5 years. Thanks Norm!

Yes I have the Bunn book and it's a good explanation. It's probably pretty safe to say that the term Sweptline as we know and use to describe our trucks was never used by Dodge in the way we use it today.

Who me? I personally don't but wonder where and when the term Sweptline came to define ALL (sweptline, utiline) of the D/W 100-500 pickups made from 1961-71. Does it define the era as others mentioned or does it specifically define the trucks that we talk about here. I have a Dodge truck brochure from 1965 that describes a Sweptline and Utiline pickup and seems to make a distinction betw

Looking for opinions on whether this truck, #1103 should be left in the Registry? Is it a Sweptline? Related question, what makes a Sweptline a Sweptline? Take the poll and post your comments.

There is a problem with the spam protection when using the PM function. I made a change to it so give it another try. Also sent you a test PM.

Due to increasing amounts of spam on the forum I've had to disable the ability to post by unregistered users. Unregistered users will still be able to read the forum but will not be able to reply or create new posts. Sorry for the inconvenience. Update: Registration will now require moderator approval. Usually this will be within 24 hours.

In an effort to thwart the Chinese spammers that have plagued the forum recently I've implemented some stronger spam control measures. This should not affect any of the registered users but may cause some problems with those that have not registered. Please let me know if you have any problems with posting messages. Thank you, Phil

Been away for the holiday weekend, sorry Jimmie for your problem. I know it sounds trite, but have you tried logging off and logging back in again? Phorum keeps the status of unread messages and private messages in a database so it shouldn't be a cookie problem.

(first pic below) Second, both links are in the gray toolbar which heads the window in which I am typing this reply. (second pic below) Maybe u are using some other template? Terry nailed it. The forum is now running with a new template. No radical changes, just a few changes to the header area to call attention to the DTA Poly Headers. If your display does not appear correct please do a full screen refresh by selecting CTRL-F5 (Ctrl Key + Function Key 5 together). You may need to do this when navigating to different portions of the forum.

Hey Gordo, Good to see you posting. Binary characters from a Word processing program will cause problems. However, I couldn't see that in the error message. Phil

QuotePwrWgnDrvr I see that the Forum Archives only include posts from the old bravenet site. Everything that has been posted on this phorum is still active, going back almost a full year now. Will it ever get full and be archived? Correct, I probably should rename the link to Old Forum Archives. The Phorum software does not need archiving, performance does not drop off as the number of posts

OK, I see it. Your forum setting for the main list display is Threaded where mine is Flat (one message per topic). So yes, in Threaded mode the view count is per message not the complete thread. In Flat mode, the view count for the first message is the total for all of the messages.
