Ben created some art work for the Dodge Sweptline.org, which you can see on the Main Logo for the site. We discussed a while back to create some art work for the site in memory of Norm who brought all us sweptliners together. So, Ben has created Norms 64 W200 or infamous Parts Pile as he called it, in his style of artwork and now it is the Main logo for Dodge Sweptline.org. Thanks Ben, great j

I don't remember exactly, but the seat for your truck would have been actually passenger car seats. If my memory serves me right they were Dodge Dart seats that they used in the CSS's. There is a good picture in the brochure for 1965.

The frame reinforcement is for the 727 automatic option, where they cut out the factory bell housing mount/cross member and install a spreader type cross member to allow clearance for the 727, it's kind of a hack looking thing, but factory. The others are part of the CSS package. Which you will see on the 65 brochure, where it shows all the standard equipment for a CSS.

Hi Paul, Looks like you got yourself a pretty nice CSS pickup, as mentioned. If you go to the Main Website MAIN WEBSITEand click on the vintage scans page, there are factory brochures and paint chips too to match up to your truck, 1962 has the color chips for 1963. Looks like it was Mustang Gray going by the firewall. The brochure for 1965 shows the CSS and what it would have looked like along

Just read an article on lowering 72-93 D series trucks. Pretty easy swap too, to lower the front 3" from stock. All that is needed is swap out the lower control arms to "B" series vans from the mid 80's, they have a recessed pocket in the arm for the coil spring, so it will drop your ride height without cutting coils or altering spindles, etc. The guy who did it used 1-ton

Now, that I have made a decision to go full race on the 69 D100. I was thinking about the new suspension swap I did with the 91 frontend into the 69 and to save/gain some HP. Most of the 81-93 trucks are power steering, mine included.....so to eliminate PS, I did some research and found some trucks came with manual steering and they are available from various suppliers. Once I get back on that

Dodge trucks didn't get marker lights until 1970 as standard equipment. Prior to 1970 reflectors were standard on all 1969 and late 1968 as a government mandate. Although, there is some debate as to whether or not all 68's or only late 68's had them. Dodge Truck Reflectors

69 didn't come standard with a marker light, it was a reflector and the optional markers and standard reflectors were round.

Wow, looks great Frank. More pictures, what's it got in it for drivetrain. I like the early style power wagon emblems and the late delete, nice touch.

When I was stripping parts off my 71 SE this week, low and behold I found an original mirror arm mounting plate inside the passenger door. So, I had to duplicate it. So, now the kits will be coming with a replica mounting plate.

FPM shows 61-68 all the same and no options. Shows knob, latch and striker. So, what you have doesn't appear to be stock for Convential Cab D&W 100 through 700.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. I'm going to contact the event manager right after the first of the year to get all the particulars. If we can't get enough trucks to participate, I will still get the tent, to support the DTA. My plan is to enter my 68 W200 and the 69 Project truck for next year, but if the 68 doesn't come together in time I will still enter the 69 and have it there.

Any of you guys, installed the Vintage Air combination unit in your truck. I have a dealer installed under dash AC unit that I was all syked up to put in my 68 W200 and never gave it a thought about the 435 and 201 sticks being right where the unit has to go So, I figured I could just rip the factory heater out and put a combo unit in place.........
