What year are you looking for? Gary Offill was reproducing them for 69-71.......I sent him a pm to see if he is still doing it.

Ya, your right there. Pretty tough to beat a good old RB sound with 3" exhaust though. I love my 93 6BT, but it's not the same as a big block.

The fittings at the firewall are the core. There are no hoses inside the heater housing.

It's odd, the cars and A100's all had socks, but the trucks didn't. Interesting how they did things or didn't do things.

Yes, that is the type, but it wont accept the oil bath air cleaner. I'm running the same carb on my 68 W200, but I converted to the open style air cleaner. Like this.

Terry, How's that air filter work on the Cummins? Heard a lot of con's on them as far as collapsing........and reducing boost? Most guy's are claiming the stock 1st Gen's are the best to run. Was going to change mine on my 93, but have been reluctant to do based on some of what I've been reading.

Just picked up a 78 D300 to build a new service truck. 440/727, AC, 16" wheels. Will be converting it to a regular cab, stretch the frame 10" out to 161" WB, then have a new enclosed service body put on it.

Welcome to the forum Nick. Looks like you got yourself a nice project. As Terry pointed out the 318 was a option as was all V8's, the 225 was the standard engine for your truck. The Carter 2-bbl is the easiest and best carb to run on the 318's. A few guy's have converted to the Holley/Motorcraft 2300 series, but you have to run an adapter plate and it needs to be modified/port m

I'm with Terry, if it's sucking brake fluid? the master probably has a bad seal too, even if the booster diaphragm is bad it shouldn't be sucking brake fluid.

Was talking to Ron Reichhart this past weekend and he was telling me about using Fastenal to ship large items cross country and they are substantially cheaper than usual carriers. So, before you back out on a deal because of shipping cost, check with Fastenal. I'm under the impression items need to be crated properly by the seller/shipper, but they will even ship engines........

There is a lot of controversy with this, but personally I don't see why it is needed, the 69-71's don't have a spanner...........I would recommend definitely boxing the area where the spring mount is though vs just hacking it off like the factory did. Just my 2 cents.

Welcome to the forum Jason, Sounds like you have a plan of attack on your restoration. The earlier 61-68 trucks used the bell housing as an engine mount vs the tranny and it is also a cross member. Dodge pretty much just cut the cross member to install auto's and added a cross member to support the tranny. I'm sure some of the other guy's will chime in on this and there is diffe

Most of the ones I've seen have them mounted on the top of the inner fender. It's a black box with a red tag and it should be labeled Sun. Your tach, does it have a model or part number on the face of the gauge, the one I have is a ST-633. The transmitter looks like this.

I picked up a 69-71 Heavy Duty Gauge cluster and it has the 6000 rpm Sun tach in it ST-633. Does this tach require the Sun transmitter box?

This year had a pretty decent showing of 61-71 Sweptlines. I checked into having a club tent for next year at the meet for the Dodge Sweptline / Dodge Truck Association, the deal is we would have a 20'x 20' tent free with 25 or more entry's under the 61-71 Dodge Truck Association. I will contact the events manager to see for sure what needs to be done, this will give all you guys

Hopefully we can keep growing the numbers. I met quite a few guys at the meet this year and the swapmeet seemed to be growing too in truck stuff.
