400 or more hp? Then consider disc all around. 270 hp or less, and a budget like me? New replacement stuff with factory specs all around? Sounds good to me. 200's and 300's excluded eh.?

Can these lines be ordered or is the only way to measure it up and bring old fittings from Dodge pump and Ford gear box to my hydraulic hose maker. ? Perhaps someone who has done this conversion may have part info for lines similar to those pictured? Just tring to make the

Once you have the junkyard ford box part needed from the USA you will need a universal joint placed between the steering column shaft and the new gear box. You will also need to do a slight modification to your existing column. I have or have available these instructions. Full disclosure,.. My info mainly comes from members and specifically one "excellent horseshoe'ing sweptline b

John, the experieces which I refer to were replacing the Dodge gear box with a ford steering box. By doing this one removes and throws away all of the antique hydraulic slave system, keeping only the pump in place. Replacing it with the Ford box allows you to use your fan belt driven pump to feed hydarulioc pressure to the new ford gear box. Every thing else is thrown away..!! The

John, the conversion to adapt the ford unit was very expensive. It was really a nice conversion however. the reason for it not being produced was insurance liability. The Canadian made unit came with a 80's thru early nineties ford steering box which is hydraulic served by a dodge powered pump just like the one you already have. (zero slave assist in the ford application) It was not
