Hope somebody knows the answer to this. Ive got a 67 D100 with a /6 - 727 combo. Ive got a 64 D100 with a poly - 727 combo. Will the 67 /6 bolt directly to the 727 in the 64? I would prefer to swap the engines only and leave the trannies where they are, since one is a 2 cable and the other a single

It gives that at first blush. HOWEVER, they ended up referring to the later model small block auto overdrive, SO,..being a little reluctant due to those comments I gave the 2 members names. They could likely give a solid answer from slanted experience.
