I have a 65 D100 and it has a bad alternator. The only alternators I have left are 2 plug ins, as in 70 D100 . (my 65 is the one wire plug in) Is the 2 plug style an ez change over,? Mechanically it lines up and fits fine. I even have a couple of the regulators from a 1970 style triangular VR Gordo

Somewhere on this or the other forum is my post on how to hook in an internally regulated H.O. alternator that will do a away with the headlight blues we all deal with. Or simply ground one field wire and move on. A good ground too, I fried one with a crappy ground.
