I have a 65 D100 and it has a bad alternator. The only alternators I have left are 2 plug ins, as in 70 D100 . (my 65 is the one wire plug in) Is the 2 plug style an ez change over,? Mechanically it lines up and fits fine. I even have a couple of the regulators from a 1970 style triangular VR Gordo

A common cause of VR pulsation is due to bad grounding of the VR or loose connections of the ground side of the VR.
