Has anyone ever tried to polish the alum. grill?? Mine, like most, has the coating wearing off. I just wonder if some steel wool, fine sanding paper, or? plus lots of time and patience, could polish the grill to look like chrome??? Thoughts??? Thanks R

That sounds nice, but keep in mind that aluminum oxidizes when exposed to air and will be a dull gray in short order. That's why it was anodized in the first place.
