my buddies d200 has been running without them for at least the last 6 years that i know of. never had any issues with it. i gave him a set of spanners years ago, but they are still sitting on his work bench. he uses it like a d200 as well, its not just a car. hadnt really thought about the spring hangers. boxing the frame a bit and eliminating the crossmember all togather will free up room for exhaust and be a lot cleaner looking then the hack job dodge did.
