No problem. The way I see it is even though it is two forums it is still one big Internet community helping each other out. I am just glad we all have two excellent places to hang out. Ben

my dad clips this column and mails me an interesting article now and then (along with a bunch of other crap). so i thought it'd be fun to send in photos and a short story of the old truck and see if they print it. in my mind's eye my dad would open up the paper and see his old truck (they bought it new) in his home-town paper and be surprised. reality was way better - they printe

So far we only have seven submissions for this years calendar. I guess I could leverage some of the photos that did not make it in years past but that would be old news. Anyone have any cool winter shots? Spring shot? What about robin's show? No photos have been sent in for that gathering... Gotta email 'em to me to be included! Simonsben at gmail dot com Ben

hello all, it is getting to be that time of year again - time to produce the annual Sweptline Calendar! if you have a photo of a Sweptline that is cool send it on - all it has to be is sweptline related. i really enjoy the junk yard, barn find, well considered arty, or vintage photos that people have submitted in years past. so get out your Brownies or Leica rangefinders and get sna

I bought my engine mounts from him as well as Terry Winkler and another couple of registry members. A couple of them also bought push-button cables as well. Other than excruciatingly slow service we all got the parts and they appear to be working as expected. My mounts are 3 years old and have 6000 plus miles on them. I got the feeling that he is a bit of a perfectionist for the parts but f

The WP Chrysler Museum 1964 CSS/HPP truck is a featured vehicle. They also interview me and put together a small side bar with two photos of me with my truck - a recent photo and a vintage photo. This is an expensive magazine at $15 but the photos of the WPC truck are amazing and the article is first class. The cover has a 1968 Chrager on it... Ben

Hi John, i had a few of the little CSS trucks but they are all gone now - Greenligh Collectibles makes them and they have all sorts of style centered on this truck - they have Utilines, LWB and SWB Sweptines and i think they even have a camper version. google Greenlight and you'll see them in various collections. glad the hands are doing better. heads up - my truck will "apparently" be one of the featured vehicles in the March 2011 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide. i have let all my magazine subscriptions lapse so please keep an eye open for it and let me know how the article turned out - they did not let me preview the article so i have no idea what photos were used or if any stories of my dad's were included.

No argument here about AMP vs VOLT. I am just sharing the fact that my AMP gauge failed. I went the volt meter route based on the advice of the harness manufacturer i went with. I had 4 AMP gauges I could have replaced it with... I think i bought two of them from you Ben

i need to send you a photo of the AMP Gauge from my truck. the nuts and pins on the back of the gauge rusted which distorted the paper looking insulator which then grounded the whole shebang to the cluster... The results: let's just say the under dash wires were a molten mess... i saved the gauge as a reminder of what was... i am now using a Volt meter dress up as a AMP gauge.
