I tried a half dozen local Dodge dealerships this past December when I was in the market for a new truck. Every one of them had glazed eyes. It didn't make a difference whether I spoke to the fleet sales mgr or the owner of the dealership. All of their eyes were wide shut. Too bad for them. Maybe next time around?.... nah.... Update. The orange wire I've been questioning runs from the harness that terminates at the alternator to the ignition side of the ballast resistor. The red ignition wire that is paired with the orange passes through location #19 of the bulkhead and runs to the ignition switch. Currently, I have no spark. As i have no fuel either , I'm addressing that before returning to electrical
