Stock pedal was rubber bolted to the floor, resting against the rod. Near impossible to find now. I missed an NOS one several yrs ago for $100

Now that's funny - what is a "standard option"? Thought it would either be "standard" or "optional"

Why do u think the booster is "sucking fluid"? Is there fluid INSIDE the booster?

The factory also added a spanner where the crossmember was cutout to resist twisting of the frame. U will have problems without it, especially with a big block. This has been done, and discussed, ad nauseum on the other forum.

Quoteswptln I picked up a 69-71 Heavy Duty Gauge cluster and it has the 6000 rpm Sun tach in it ST-633. Does this tach require the Sun transmitter box? That tach is different than the ones used in pre 69 HD gauges. Only the earlier tach had the box on the fender. I have the same ST-633 in a 70 truck and no box.

No different for modern vehicles either. Can't buy all the parts for a 2016 vehicle unassembled for less than the whole vehicle from the dealer. You're also disregarding the significant time to disassemble a truck, stockpile the parts, dispose of the junk, pack and ship the parts, the cost to BUY THE DAMN TRUCK TO START WITH and haul it home. Then wait 10 or more yrs to MAYBE find a

It looks like all listings were deleted that were originally posted more than 60 days ago, regardless of whether they had recent activity. That seems counterproductive and a bad protocol. The other forum's policy is to not delete until there has been no activity for 30 days. Some guy's will keep their ad alive by posting a "bump" reply every couple weeks. I know there were a c

The hood springs rarely need replacement. Its the hinges that wear out at the un-bushed pivot points and screw up the alignment.

The 300 trans hump is flat and has a massive cover that goes up the firewall. The floor pan is shaped accordingly. The steering wheel penetration in the floor is a different shape and location. There is something different about the gas pedal. Ben had to convert a 300 cab to the 100 version when he restored his HPP truck. I sent him some patch panels to do it.

Mark, those are eye candy for sure! Does the design keep the screw that holds the arm to the base from loosening over time? Are the mounting screws included in the kit and are they stainless or zinc plate? I would also suggest that when installing the backing plate the first time, a daub of polyurethane, such as Sikaflex 1A, be placed on the plate to glue it to the door. Then if the mirror is

In 1981 I hauled 5000# of beeswax from Visalia to Chico, 70 W200, stacked high at the front of the bed to be centered between the axles. Every bump scared the shit out of me, wouldn't do it again! Nice load Frank!

QuoteJhollett The springs aren't rated higher than the axle, the rear axle cap is 5500, spring cap is only 3425. 2 springs/axle = 6850

No point in having springs rated higher than the axle. Will just make the ride rougher and beat the hell out of the truck.
