The large knuckle trucks use the same 19 spline M7 Warn hubs, so they are the same. Rob

The Dana 44 axles should be 19 splines and the Dana 60 I'm not sure on but think they are about the same. Hopefully someone will clarify this. Rob

That's exactly what my truck looked like the day I brought it home. I saw that ad a few days ago. The same guy also had a '64 W500 for sale along with a Flat Fender PW. That truck is a little far for us to retrieve. We recently bought a '65 W200 Crew Cab and have been working on that quite a bit. Rob

My Dad and I were trying to bleed the brakes on our W200 crew today and we were not sure what the order was in bleeding the brakes with the vacuum brake booster. We bled the booster and then the wheel cyls and then the booster again and still can't get any pedal. We are using regular brake fluid and not the DOT 5 silicone brake fluid. I remember someone saying that you aren't supposed

I wish it had a turbo!! I did the stethoscope trick and found the noise was coming from the passenger primary. It's got an Edelbrock Performer 383 aluminum intake manifold. Rob

The Sweptline Special emblems came with the truck when my friend bought it. The previous owner had some nice "200" emblems and put them on instead. Rob

The carter thermoquad on our crew cab with 383 likes to whistle when you rev it up. At an idle there is no whistling. I first thought it was a vacuum leak but I checked all the lines and no holes or cracks. I took the air cleaner off and found the noise sounded like it was coming from the primaries. Didn't know if anyone else had the same problems or knew what it could be. Thanks. Rob

Yes that was the truck. I was also wondering if anyone had other info in the truck or pictures before it was converted to 4wd. Someone did a nice job, just trying to find other info for the owner of the truck. Rob

A friend of mine bought a 1971 D/W100 a few months back and I remember hearing about someone doing a Sweptline Special 4 wheel drive conversion some time back. I found a few pictures of the Swept Special (2WD): Was wondering if anyone remembers this conversion or has any more pictures/info. Thanks.

My Dad and I went up to Anderson, Ca yesterday and bought a 1965 W200 Crew Cab Power Wagon from a fellow member of the forum, "Dodgeum." It is a good looking truck. It has a '71 383 from a SuperBee and an aftermarket Crane Cam (I don't know the exact specs right off hand). It has an on board air compressor with a ~10 gallon tank. Here are some pics: I can

They started using them in mid '65 at least for 100 and 200's and possibly 300's when they changed to the double wall bed with the tall tail lights. Rob

We are using Autolite 85's. The spark plug itself didn't melt but something melted in between the finger and electrode. It's really strange. I'll test the compression again once the valves are adjusted and post the results. Rob

Did a compression test this morning. Fan 110 90 95 85 55 85 70 90 I checked out the spark plugs again and the rear driver spark plug had the finger and the electrode melted together. I tried cleaning it out but it was stuck in there. I put in another spark plug and it runs great. We are going to have the local tune up mechanic we've gone to before adjust the valves

It has a Summit electronic ignition. I'll check the plug wires again tomorrow but I don't know what would all of a sudden cause them to come loose. I tried driving it up our fairly steep driveway and it just didn't have the power. Rob

Last weekend I driving around some trails and went up a long steep hill and as soon as I got to the top it started running really rough. I had been driving around all day on the freeway and out on some back roads and as soon as I did this it ran rough. I was running at high RPM's but nothing extreme. We checked the valves and nothing was out of adjustment. I played with the timing and that d

Here's my Dad's '64 W200. It came out of the White Sands, NM AFB. In the picture it still has the grill guard and dropped rear bumper. Here's a D100 I found up in Idaho in a wrecking yard that still had the stickers on the bumper: Rob

My '62 W100 has the same rear spring rating as our '64 W200 parts truck (1750 lb.) but our '65 W100 is rated at 1350 lb or something like that. Rob

A buddy and I went up to Santa Cruz this morning and picked up his "new" 1971 W100. It's a shortbed with a built 383. The front end is an open knuckle Dana 44 with disk brakes and the rear is a Dana 60. It needs a few odds and ends to get running great. It's a cool truck. Originally from Arizona. Here' s some pictures: 1971 W100 and my 1962 W100 Rob
