For those that are interested in the fine points & minor details of the Chrysler Engineering designs I'll provide more info here to explain the reason for the surge coil found in hydraulic clutch lines on Dodge trucks. I'm always surprised at the amazing depth of Chrysler engineering

Notice the flexible hose(its just a short section 6-10"long) in the picture that Terry posted.This is how the smart guys at Dodge did it.Those coiled lines are replacements...

Actually the coiled lines are factory. The coiled line is on the clutch, the flexible line is for the brake, also stock.
These are strictly for vibration.
