For those that are interested in the fine points & minor details of the Chrysler Engineering designs I'll provide more info here to explain the reason for the surge coil found in hydraulic clutch lines on Dodge trucks. I'm always surprised at the amazing depth of Chrysler engineering

Maybe those jeepers were engineers.
We had a Chrysler truck centre near by and seldom worked on trucks except for the ones the ENGINEERS sent to me.The most prevelant were driveline vibrations. I have to admit there was one I couldn`t fix and sent it to Windsor. I took the engineers to the bar and they didn`t get home till about 5am, had a presentation to do that morning, they were wrecks, slightly pissed at me but they never forgot me and I was able to call them whenever and get drawings etc. not available in FSMs.
The point of all that drivell was to say "I can`t remember what the clutch line was"
