Anywhere in that drop would take up movement. U gotta remember there is a lot of engine movement and twisting in relationship to the cab, especially under high torque conditions like loaded and granny gear. Anybody can see it for themselves, just open the hood and rev the engine in quick short bursts while observing that line.
As for "hammering", "turbulating" and "aerating" of the fluid, there is just simply NOT enough flow, velocity, pressure or events/second for those effects to even occur. Jimmies formulas prove nothing since they were not calculated out with real #'s from this system.
